How to Prepare
All participants in the games, including athletes, coaches and officials, need to meet specific requirements based on the sport they’re competing in. This includes the BC Games General Rules and the specific rules for each sport.
For the BC Games, the province is divided into 8 zones. Playoffs or selections of representatives for each zone are coordinated by the Provincial Sport Association for each sport. Check out our zone map to learn which zone you’re in.
Learn about all eligibility requirements for each sport in the Technical Packages created by the BC Games Society. Make sure you’re familiar with all of the requirements before the games, such as age limits, equipment restrictions and coaching requirements.
